In 2006, a few of us at New Hope Brisbane were noticing just how many international people were coming along on a Sunday morning. They needed a way to connect and to understand the messages of New Hope Brisbane. Many of them were coming along as a result of New Hope people's connection with English Corner, which is the ministry of Kim and Ashley Hood from Windsor Road Baptist. Some of our guys were going along as teachers.

As you can see, there are a lot of students there! English Corner still meets every week in the city.  We would give an invitation to the students at English Corner to come to the International Group for some food, some fun, some friendship, and to learn about faith - the four Fs.

 Sometimes, we got up to 50 students along! We'd cook for them and sometimes, they'd cook for us. We'd play some fun games and build friendships with them, and we'd always have some kind of discussion usually presented in a creative and interactive way.
